About Us

Prom School is the first private kindergarten in Latkrabang District, Bangkok, Thailand. It was founded in 1990 by Mrs. Monthatip Padlom, the school director, who wished to create a warm, safe, and joyful environment where children could grow happily through learning.
The school was originally named “Prom Kindergarten”, inspired by the founder’s supportive mother, Mrs. Boonprom Komolkul.
In the beginning, Prom Kindergarten consisted of a small white two-story building with a red roof, surrounded by nature and two playgrounds.
The school initially supported students from Kindergarten 1 to Kindergarten 3, with only one classroom for each level.
In January 2010, the new modern three-story building was completed with a budget of 20 million THB. The building includes classrooms, student laboratories, and a learning center designed to support the expansion into primary education.
The school campus was also expanded to approximately 3 rais (1.2 acres) to accommodate future growth.
During the school’s 20th anniversary in 2010, the name was officially changed from “Prom Kindergarten” to “Prom School”.
The school also introduced the Primary School program and gradually expanded teaching up to Grade 6.
Prom School became the first school in Latkrabang District to offer the Intensive English Program (IEP.) as the only program for every grade level, where students study English with foreign teachers every day.
In 2020, Prom School celebrated its 30th anniversary and continues to believe that every student should learn happily, discover their own potential, and grow confidently toward their future.
